Learn how to use the pottery wheel to create cups, bowls, vases, and other items. You will get individualized guidance as you build skills at wheel throwing. The instructor will provide small group demonstrations. Participants will have plenty of open studio time at the wheel to practice new skills and make pieces to keep.
10 lbs of clay is included in the class fee. Additional clay can be purchased online or you can pay by check/cash (no change is available so have the exact amount for payment). Students will select 1-2 items to fire. Glaze colors will be selected at the final session and applied by the instructor after the initial bisque firing. Participants will be notified when projects are ready for pick up (approximately 2 weeks after the class).
This session is designed for students with little to no experience.
