Wheel Throwing for Kids - Open Studio
#: 592    ID: June    Section: 25&26
product
Description:

This session is designed for students who have taken intro/beginner wheel throwing classes (I & II).
The format of this session is open studio; however, the pottery instructor will provide a refresher and be available to assist with skill development (centering, pulling up, trimming, etc.). Most of the work time will be independent and allow students to practice techniques. Clay, tools, glaze and kiln firing are included in the fee. Students will be able select up to 4 pots/items to fire.

Students can glaze their projects during the pottery open studio sessions for adults. A schedule will be provided at the first session (typically Tuesdays 6-8 pm and Saturdays 10 am-Noon).

If your child can not glaze during the open studio time, a glaze kit will be put together with your child's glaze colors. You will pick up bisque items and the glaze kit at the CEC, your child will glaze the items at home, and you will return the items for firing at the CEC.
