After School Art Club

Description:

Join us after school for a 4-week art club. Each week will feature a creative design challenge. Students will paint, sculpt, and explore a variety of art making and craft mediums.

Art Club is held at the Community Education Center's Makerspace Classroom.

Each child who participates in Art Club during the 2024-25 school year will get an Art Club t-shirt. Please specify your child's t-shirt size at registration.

Schedule
2:45-3:00 pm - Arrival, Snack, Sketchbook Time
3:00-4:30 pm - Daily Art Challenge
4:30 pm - Parent Pick up

Bring to Class:

Dress for mess! Please wear appropriate clothes for art making.
Please pack a tree-nut and peanut free snack and your child's water bottle.

Please let your child's classroom teacher know that your child will be attending this activity after school.

Students can take the Activity Bus #12 to the Community Education Center from the Primary or Intermediate Schools or you can transport your student to the CEC. For directions to the classroom, check in at the Community Education Office or follow directional signs to the top floor on the south side.

If you use Project Kids for childcare, please let them know about your child's participation in this class.
